Rachel Might Be Right For You If…

  • You feel stuck in the in-between. You’ve left school and started building a career, but you haven’t quite landed yet — and everyone seems to expect you to have it sorted.
  • Your mind won’t stop spiraling. Anxiety about friendships, dating, and where you stand with people creeps in, especially late at night.
  • You’ve started leaning on a drink or some weed to cope. A glass of wine or a joint has quietly become your go-to way to take the edge off after a hard day.
  • You feel like you’re not enough. You scroll through a phone full of people who seem to have it figured out and wonder why you don’t measure up.

Whether you’re working through anxiety, rethinking habits that aren’t serving you, or trying to figure out what you actually want out of your life, Rachel offers a warm, grounded space to help you find your footing — somewhere you can be honest without having to perform.

Rachel also gets that therapy can feel like a big step or be tough sometimes, so she brings a gentle sense of humor into sessions when it feels right, helping the healing process feel more approachable and comfortable.

Social Anxiety & Confidence

Life as a young adult is full of moments that ask a lot of you socially — meeting new people, speaking up in a meeting or seminar, going on dates, or trying to feel secure in a new relationship. Those situations can come with a knot in the stomach, the constant worry of being judged, or the spiral of overthinking a conversation hours after it ended.

Rachel works closely with clients on the fear of rejection, the insecurity that creeps into romantic relationships, and the pressure of feeling like everyone else is more confident. The goal is a steadier sense of confidence rooted in knowing who you are, rather than constantly shape-shifting to fit the room.

Alcohol, Weed & Substance Use

A drink after a hard day, a joint to take the edge off, a few too many on the weekend — for a lot of young adults, alcohol and weed quietly become the default way to manage stress, social anxiety, or just the weight of everything. Sometimes they’re also the easiest way to avoid sitting with the bigger questions about who you are and what you want.

Rachel offers a steady, confidential space — no labels, no pressure to quit, no need to hit some imagined “rock bottom” before it counts. Together, you’ll explore what these substances are doing for you, what they might be costing you, and what changes (if any) you actually want to make.

Perfectionism & Self-Worth

It can feel like there’s a quiet pressure running underneath everything — to do well at work or school, to look a certain way, to have the right relationships, the right routines, the right life. Perfectionism can show up as overworking and still feeling behind, replaying small mistakes long after anyone else has forgotten them, or feeling like your worth depends on your output or how others see you. It also leaves little room to ask the more important questions — what do you actually value, and who are you when you’re not chasing someone else’s definition of “enough”?

Rachel helps clients challenge the harsh inner voice that drives these patterns and build a steadier sense of self-worth rooted in who you are and what you believe in, not what you produce.

A Little About Rachel

Rachel grew up in a small rural town, which is probably why nature still feels like her real reset button. She’s a big believer in the small, ordinary rituals that hold a life together: catching up with friends, long walks that double as therapy of their own, slow weekend mornings with a coffee and her cat Poe, and giving herself permission to log off. She doesn’t ask her clients to do anything she isn’t actively practising herself — slowing down, being kind to herself, and treating her own well-being as something worth protecting
