Reach Out to Kevin If...
- Your head won’t shut off. Running worst-case scenarios, rerunning conversations you’ve already had, stuck on thoughts and checks you can’t seem to drop — Kevin treats anxiety and OCD, including rumination-based “Pure-O,” using evidence-based ERP to help you break the cycle.
- You deliver for everyone but you’re running on empty. Wired, short-fused, and quietly terrified one slip could blow everything up — Kevin helps high performers stop tying their worth to their output, so you can take the pressure off without losing the edge that got you here.
- A habit you reach for has taken the wheel. The drinking, the betting, the late-night scrolling — Kevin offers a straight-up, no-judgment space to figure out what’s driving it and get back to a life that feels like yours.
- Closeness is harder than it should be. Or you keep people at arm’s length before they can let you down — drawing on attachment-based work and the Gottman Method, Kevin helps individuals and couples rebuild trust and actually reconnect.
Kevin brings humour, honesty, and genuine warmth to his work with adults and couples, along with a willingness to challenge you when it might spark real insight. He specializes in treating OCD and anxiety, relationship and attachment issues, burnout and performance anxiety, addiction and unhealthy coping habits, and communication breakdowns.
How Kevin Can Help You…
When Your Mind Won’t Stop Racing
Do you find yourself dreading social situations and replaying every interaction afterward, or caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts and rituals you can’t seem to stop? These patterns can feel isolating and exhausting, like being trapped in your own mind.
Having been diagnosed with anxiety and OCD himself at a young age, Kevin understands these struggles personally and has experience treating these problems in their many forms, including rumination-based OCD (sometimes called “Pure-O”). He works collaboratively with you using evidence-based Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and other cognitive behavioural approaches to help you break free from obsessive thought cycles, manage compulsive behaviours, and challenge the fears keeping you stuck. If anxious thoughts are running your life, Kevin can help you take it back.
The Cost of Always Delivering
You’re the high performer. The one who delivers, who pushes through, who doesn’t let people down. From the outside it looks like you’ve got it handled; but underneath, you’re exhausted, wired, and quietly terrified that one mistake could cost you dearly. Maybe you’ve started dreading the things you used to love. Maybe your sleep is shot, your fuse is short, or you can’t remember the last time you felt proud of yourself instead of just relieved. When your sense of worth is tied to your output, rest feels like failure and “good enough” never quite is.
Kevin helps you untangle who you are from what you produce by working through the perfectionism, the self-criticism, and the fear of falling short that have probably been running the show for a long time. The goal isn’t to make you less driven. It’s to help you perform from a place that doesn’t quietly cost you everything.
Why Connection Keeps Falling Apart
Do you brace for people to leave, wondering when the other shoe will drop? Or perhaps you keep them at a distance so they can’t hurt you, or find that closeness somehow turns into anxiety, anger or jealousy? These patterns usually trace back further than the current relationship, to how you learned to connect a long time ago. Left unexamined, they quietly sabotage the connections you really want.
Using a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach, Kevin helps you understand where the patterns come from, work through the past hurts driving them, and start building relationships that feel secure and satisfying.
When the Habit Takes the Wheel
Many of us turn to substances or behaviours like alcohol, drugs, spending, gambling, and pornography to cope with stress or numb emotional pain. Sometimes those habits become hard to control, leaving guilt, shame, or real problems in your life and relationships behind them.
If you’re starting to question your relationship with a particular substance or habit, Kevin offers a compassionate, judgment-free space to explore what’s underneath it. Drawing on professional training and hands-on experience supporting people in recovery, he helps you understand the stress, hurt, or emptiness driving the pattern so you can start building a life that actually feels like yours again.
Finding Your Way Back to Each Other
When communication has broken down, trust has been damaged by dishonesty or infidelity, or addiction is affecting your home life, it can feel impossible to find your way back to each other.
Using the evidence-based Gottman Method, Kevin helps couples rebuild empathy, repair trust, and develop practical tools for navigating conflict; creating space where both of you can be honest, feel understood, and reconnect with the friendship at the heart of your relationship.
A Little More About Kevin
Kevin stays active with CrossFit and pickup volleyball (enthusiastically, if not always gracefully), loves travelling to places rich with ancient history — most recently Egypt and Peru — and enjoys cooking adventurous meals, reading widely, and unwinding with a good sci-fi or fantasy series.
