About Elizabeth Eastwood

Elizabeth is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over six years of clinical experience. She continually integrates new knowledge into her practice and is currently completing her Masters degree in Psychotherapy at Laurier University. We’re happy to welcome Elizabeth at MyLife as an intern under the supervision of our Clinical Co-Director Eve Tesluk. She is happy to provide a reduced rate to make therapy more accessible to the community.

Elizabeth helps her clients, particularly young adults, transform the stress and uncertainty of life transitions into opportunities for self-discovery and growth. She understands the emotional challenges which can arise from changes in living situations, responsibilities at school or work, fostering community, preparing for the future, as well as changes in identity, health, or spirituality. Elizabeth guides her clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms, including mindfulness, relaxation, and creative expression, to manage difficult emotions and find renewed meaning and purpose amidst life changes.

Elizabeth knows from personal experience the profound impact of a listening ear, an encouraging word, or the supportive presence of someone who can see our strengths even as we struggle. As your therapist, she’ll create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your challenges, discover your strengths, and create a life that feels meaningful. Elizabeth has a warm and grounding presence that will help you feel welcome and at ease no matter your concern.

As a life-long musician, amateur artist, and sometimes-actor, Elizabeth brings her creative sensibilities and even a playful spirit to her work as a therapist. She sees identity, relationships, and spirituality as ever-evolving aspects of life, and she’ll support you in exploring and shaping them in ways that feel authentic to you
